Working Hard is Lazy

I know what you're thinking.... are you crazy and how is working hard lazy? Hold on a second I might be on to something. With the correct on the job training, any worker can flip a burger, work outside under pressure, sell a product, count money, or do anything that requires body movement. Which also makes the employee easily replaceable. However, without the mental thought how can we speak, walk, run, have a plane in the air, invent light, learn a new language, develop sounds or rhythms through music, create a plan and open a business, study the movements of a stock chart, and most importantly solve a problem. The power of the mind is the most valuable attribute a human can obtain as it brings riches and dreams to fruition.

Now solve this problem

Most of us rather not solve questions that require mental brain work. Working 40 hours a week seems much easier.

Thoughts > Physical Labor

Just look at the CEO or owner of the company you work for. Well, you can't. Most of us don't even know their names or haven't seen them. It's all about getting paid so who cares right? The CEO of these companies are locked away at home mentally preparing ideas for the organization. In most cases, the original founder is probably on vacation for the rest of his life. These "giants" are not breaking a sweat but they're reaping rewards 10 times as much as their employees. The owners at the top get paid the most for their mental work. Employees at the bottom get paid the least for their very tough physical work which often times gets taken for granted. CEO's are busy mentally working hard to develop business plans, transferring millions to their personal accounts, and creating more ideas for the company. Anyone can lift a hammer but difficult to create an idea or product for millions of consumers. Don't hate the player hate the game. But how can you hate the game if it's free to play?

YOU CHOOSE

With hard work and sacrifice you can accomplish almost anything in life. The only confusion is the hard work successful individuals were referring to was mental work not physical labor. Mental work must come first at all times. Lifting 200 pounds, running, and walking all day isn't required to acquire an substantial amount of wealth. So why isn't everyone doing it? One of the most difficult task a human being can do is brainstorm.

THINK ABOUT IT

Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak (Founders of Apple) started planning and designing in Jobs bedroom then later moved to the garage to create what we all use today. The Apple product. Jeff Bezos wrote his entire business plan on a drive from New York City to Seattle and later founded Amazon in his garage. Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger (Founders of Instagram) decided to build Instagram from an idea. Former employees of Yahoo Brian Acton and Jan Koum also worked mentally hard to bring us WhatsApp from inspiration through the iPhone. Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim put together three creative minds to find YouTube in a garage. Every great idea started with a thought and spending hours mentally planning for it can result in a hefty reward. Whether you're an investor, an artist, business owner, poet, and author it all started with the first step which was an idea from our precious thoughts. These are tools we use nearly every second of the day.

So Remember....

If you mentally think and plan on a consistent basis, along with actions you will outperform in every aspect of life. We're all capable. Creating a plan, learning numbers, investing in the stock market, learning how to buy a house, writing, or even creating a curriculum may seem difficult to anyone but may change the entire world. Of course we need someone to do the physical side of work but the purpose of this article is to show you thoughts are powerful and could be the answer you were looking for. Dreams and thoughts are worth way more than money.
